Reviews of our Restored Italian Villa
Hi! We came to Le Marche to escape the relentless Florentine heat and explore a hitherto unknown region. We brought our three children (8, 5, and 3 week old!). This was the latter’s first holiday and she’s now spent more than a quarter of her life in Regnano! Top marks for the house and swimming pool – it was just perfect! Unexpected bonuses were a couple of surprise restaurants (Le Logge and Picciolo di Rame), the countryside way of life and the humber determination of the Marchigiani to continue despite and because of the devastating earthquakes. Thanks for the great break!Sarah, Francesco, Samuel, Isabel, Lilian
What a wonderful experience I have had here at La Vecchia Scuola! I couldn’t have dreamt of a more amazing experience. From the moment my friend and I arrived there was a sense of relaxation and comfort the house gives you. The peacefulness of the Italian countryside yet the closeness of a big town makes La Vecchia Sculoa the perfect location!
This trip we visited many of the towns in the Le Marche region as well as being close enough to visit Florence and Venice. There is so much history steeped into this country that each town has its own unique story, it was incredible to experience that.
The food! Oh the delicious, ingenious, simple, beautiful food! We made sure to visit many of the recommendations given to us by Adrian and Margaret and each and every one was mouthwateringly good. The dinner at il Picciolo di Rame was my favourite. A 12 course degustation consisting of the dishes specific to the region and its 12th century setting. The chef is passionate about his ingredients and takes time to explain each dish.
I cannot begin to thank Adrian and Margaret enough for this incredible experience that we have had!

We have been here for three months now and it has been three of the best months of our lives! The house is AMAZING, the view, the food, the people, the nearby towns… what more can we say?! Adriana and Ivana have been absolutely beautiful with us and especially our three year old and nine month old children. We have had many visitors over the time and have found it a great place to entertain as well as relax with the family (well, we much as you can with two little munchkins!). We will definitely tell all our friends to come here and enjoy this home as much as we have. Thank you.Alana, Adam, Siena & Lucas xoxo
What a wonderful, fine, ‘rich’, pleasant and foremost great place to live. We spent three fantastic weeks living in your house. Thank you for letting us! We visited the beach at Grottammare, enjoyed a wonderful lunch inGrottammare. We also visited the Frassasi Cave and can recommend the trip as well. One day we started at 9am in the Sibillini Mountains for a long walk to the top of the mountains 2170 metres – more than beautiful and worth doing. We had many lunches or dinners. The one we enjoyed the most was in Tolentino, Casa Mia. Each day having breakfat with the magnificant view is a great way to start your day!Franh, Beigorne, Beau, Max, Lea - The Netherlands
